Shane Root, MD, is a neurologist in the Lewis Headache Center at Barrow Neurological Institute and an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Dr. Root’s expertise includes diagnosing and treating migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, cerebrospinal fluid leak, intracranial hypotension, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, cluster headache, and occipital neuralgia. In addition to managing headache disorders with medication, he is experienced in nerve block and Botox procedures.
