Urgent Care Provider Melissa Marrocco, MSN, FNP-BC

Melissa Marrocco is a nurse practitioner who provides medical treatment for patients at Atracare’s Urgent Care (Walk-In) facility in Ocean View.

“My years of experience as a nurse practitioner have taught me that the best way to treat a patient in their time of need is to listen attentively, perform a thorough assessment, and work with the patient to develop a treatment plan to get them on their way to better health.”

Melissa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of experience in Walk-In/Urgent Care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stevenson University. Upon graduation, she began her career at Union Hospital of Cecil County in the pediatric/women’s health unit. While working full time as a nurse, she attended the University of Delaware to pursue her master’s degree in nursing. After graduation, she began working for a walk-in clinic with several locations in the Baltimore/Metro area. In the summer of 2022, she joined the Atracare Team at their new Ocean View location.

Melissa is married and has four sons. When not working, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family at home or at the beach.
