The Ragsdale's family history in business dates back to the 1800's in what is now called the state of Oklahoma. William Ragsdale opened a livery stable in Muskogee, Oklahoma that developed into him renting horse drawn hearse's to mourner's and later taking and embalming course, that would lead to the opening of The Ragsdale Undertaking Company in 1889.
