I chose to become an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), specifically a Nurse Practitioner, because I saw significant value in the relationship and trust between patient and provider inherent to the field of nursing. Serving patients and families at the bedside as a nurse and advocate fostered my development as an APP, and without that key step in my career, I wouldn’t be the Nurse Practitioner I am today. I believe that all medicine – sickness and wellness – should have a strong focus on quality of life improvement. I believe that aesthetic medicine, albeit primarily elective, allows my patients to feel better, and thus, can contribute back to their friends, family and society in a more meaningful way. My specialty of practice is restorative health and aesthetic medicine. I spend my time outside of work with my husband and daughter. We enjoy going to the beach to visit our family whenever possible – and love to build and eat charcuterie boards.
