Elizabeth Weitzel Hackley, FNP-C

Liz Weitzel, MSN, APRN, FNP-C attended nurse practitioner school at Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, OH, graduating with honors in May of 2021. She previously worked as an oncological emergency department nurse at The Ohio State University. She was part of the NP fellowship at Lexington Medical Center prior to coming to MUSC. She is currently enrolled in school for her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Capitol City Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.

Liz has a passion for health promotion and disease prevention and is excited to start her role as the low dose CT nurse practitioner. This allows lung screening and prevention to be brought to citizens in the Midlands.
