Jason Payne, MD, FACS

Dr. Payne is a Board Certified General Surgeon with specialized training in robotic, minimally invasive, and bariatric surgery. He is a graduate of Millsaps College and completed medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Dr. Payne is internationally recognized as a bariatric surgeon through the International Bariatric Club (IBC). Dr. Payne is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Mississippi State Medical Association, and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).

Dr. Payne performs bariatric surgery both laparoscopically and robotically. In 2015, he performed the first fully robotic Sleeve Gastrectomy in the state of Mississippi.
