Alison M. Farr, DNP, Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Alison Farr is a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner at the University of Vermont Medical Center. 

Alison went into medicine to make a difference in people’s lives. She finds it personally rewarding to be a lifelong learner, and medicine provides the perfect medium for continued professional growth and development. 

Her goal is to help make patients feel as comfortable as possible while they are in her care, and accomplishes this by spending time at the bedside to establish a relationship with each patient that feels respectful and unique. She sees patients as individuals who have complex and important lives outside of the hospital or clinic.
