Rick holds a Doctorate in Ministry with a concentration in Counseling and has worked with families, couples and individuals as a Pastoral counselor for several years. His interest in providing the best care while providing marriage therapy and staying up to date in his field has lead him to enroll in and is nearing the completion of a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.
Rick’s primary focus is couples counseling, which he approaches using the Gottman Method, Symbis and Emotional Focus Couples Therapy and draws on his history of pastoral ministry with couples. He also has been trained in specific therapy techniques for anger management, depression, and anxiety. He offers assessments and treatment plans to help each individual apply specific interventions to work towards goals.
