I decided on neurology following a closed head injury at age 15 (spent a few months in hospital/rehab with a traumatic brain injury) and once I discovered I could enjoy and practice neurology, I pursued this career with a passion. I am fascinated by the workings of the human brain, and am knowledgeable about the many disease processes that can affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
