Faiza Malik, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and obesity medicine specialist at Dow Physicians Group. With convenient office locations in Webster and Texas City, Texas, local individuals and families seek out Dr. Malik for her personalized approach to their health care needs and goals. 

Dr. Malik graduated from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She then went on to complete her medical training in family medicine at St. Vincent Medical Center. After graduation, she worked in Iowa for some time before moving to Galveston, Texas, in early 2014. Since then, she has been working as a hospitalist.  

At Dow Physicians Group, Dr. Malik offers primary care services to people of all ages and ensures the continuity of care, so you can always approach her with your medical problems as you move through the stages of your life. While helping you to avoid health concerns like cancer, hypertension and diabetes, and heart disease, she works with you to establish a lasting, healthy life. 

Dr. Malik founded her practice with a central focus on preventive medicine. She believes that healthy lifestyle habits serve as the foundation of good health and can help prevent many serious illnesses. However, she also has a passion for complex and rare medical problems.

Outside the office, Dr. Malik is an advocate for equality in health care, organ transplant, and gene therapy. In addition, she is affiliated with the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
