Our mission is to provide a safe environment and activities unique to each individual we serve with developmental disabilities.
TaUrt’s Village provides community-based support that will focus on harmonizing a quality of life that is valued by society through advocacy. TaUrt’s Village is inspired by the African Deity TaUrt who is The Mother and Protector of all. Our focus is to provide stability through positive energy and nurture our individuals to grow into a better quality of life. Throughout the years of servicing individuals with developmental disabilities, we are experienced in working with individuals who are unable to advocate for themselves, being left to feel vulnerable. However, through TaUrt’s Village we are honored to be able to successfully provide a safe domain for individuals who also struggle with gaining independence.
