Nicole A. Florence, MD

Nicole A. Florence, MD, completed her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana—Champaign in 1996. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where she completed combined residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics in 2000. Dr. Florence is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics and bariatric medicine.

Dr. Florence has served in various capacities during her tenure at Memorial Health. From 2000-2020, she served as a primary care physician for pediatric and adult patients at Memorial Care on Koke Mill. In 2013, she began serving as the co-medical director of the Memorial Wellness Center, helping direct and develop programs for medical weight loss (surgical and non-surgical) and various wellness programs in the community. As her passion for this patient population continued to evolve, she joined the Memorial Wellness Center as a full-time bariatrician in 2020.
