Savannah Wawner, MSPAS, PA-C

Savannah Wawner, MSPAS, PA-C is a physician assistant specializing in Pediatric Neurology with MUSC Children's Health. After graduation from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Master of Science degree, she completed an 18 month Pediatric Neurology Fellowship. Mrs. Wawner manages a variety of pediatric conditions including headache disorders, seizure disorders, movement disorders, sleep disorders, developmental delay and other neurologic conditions presenting in newborns through teenagers. Her clinical interests include headaches, syncopal episodes, non-epileptic events, tic disorder, and developmental delay. She also evaluates pediatric patients who sustain head injuries in a multidisciplinary concussion clinic with a physical therapist and speech-language pathologist. Mrs. Wawner believes in patient and family centered care. She practices medicine with a collaborative approach, consulting with additional specialists when warranted, and sharing decision making with families when possible. She takes pride in her emphasis on considering each patient as an individual and maintaining open communication.
