Karen Loomis joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 2022. She previously worked for 17 years as Chief of Operations Europe DISA at Department of Defense.

A graduate of Western International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Karen holds Series 7, 66 and Securities Industry Essentials
securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in OH, MI, IN, AZ.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Karen serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Karen will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

In her free time, Karen enjoys bike riding, cooking, and reading.
