Suzanne Straebler, Ph.D., PMH-BC

Dr. Straebler obtained her doctoral degree in Psychiatry from the University of Oxford, UK and her MSN from Yale University. She is the recipient of both the Eating Disorder Summer Research Fellowship at the Eating Disorder Clinical and Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard University and the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy student scholarship. Prior to joining Weill Cornell/ NewYork Presbyterian she was a Senior Research Clinician at theCentre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford University. While at Oxford, she received highly specialized training in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders and was a contributing author of the cognitive behavioral therapy for eating disorders treatment manual. Her current research focuses on increasing access to treatment, improving training for therapists, and creating online versions of evidence-based treatments.
