Lauren Brooks is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner who works in the Bariatric Surgery division at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. She collaborates with board certified surgeons who specialize in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic, bariatric, and general surgery procedures. She performs detailed and comprehensive pre-operative and post-operativeassessments for patients before and after surgeries. She uses evidence-based practice that maximizes health potential for all patients.Lauren is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Master of Science in Nursing at New York University.
