Sharon McKelvey, DO - Family Medicine

Sharon McKelvey, DO, enjoys practicing Family Medicine because she gets to treat patients of all ages, from newborns through geriatrics. She especially enjoys working with adolescent patients and young adults, striving to help them incorporate a healthy diet and lifestyle to work towards optimal health. Dr. McKelvey is skilled in sports medicine, managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension, and in-office dermatological procedures.

Dr. McKelvey earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University in Long Beach, California. She went on to earn a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. She has extensive experience as a Primary Care doctor in the Denver metropolitan area.

Dr. McKelvey would almost always rather be hiking. She enjoys several other outdoor activities, like paddle boarding, biking, and kayaking. She also spends time volunteering at her children’s schools and makes a point to travel internationally at least once a year.
