Heather Poropat, AGPCNP

Heather Poropat, AGNP-C, RN, is a board-certified adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner with a specialty in gastroenterology. She received her associate degree in nursing and Master of Science in advanced practice nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.

Before joining the SSM Health Medical Group, Heather practiced as a patient care coordinator at Siteman Cancer Center. She has over 20 years of RN experience providing exceptional patient treatment in clinical settings, including oncology and hospice care. She is passionate about symptom management and ensuring patients are as comfortable as possible.

As a 2021 graduate from her master’s degree program, Heather is trained in providing advanced assessment, diagnostic and treatment care for patients. Her areas of expertise include primary care, gastroenterology care, patient-centered care and preventive care.
