Donald Miller, NP - Nurse Practitioner

D. Michael Miller, NP, is passionate about seeing his patients achieve their health goals. By collaborating with his patients, together they can keep the patient’s health moving in a positive direction. Michael has experience in many areas of healthcare, particularly with orthopedics and spine, and using that knowledge he can help patients through the continuum of care.

Michael initially received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado. Having this degree has helped him to have a deeper understanding of the various aspects of healthcare and its position in our world. Michael also earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing from Beth-El College of Nursing at the University of Colorado Springs. He is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and has been certified as a Rehab Nurse and worked as a nurse caring for complex patients, particularly those with spinal cord injuries, stroke, and brain injuries. Michael’s orthopedic and spine experience has included diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and spine issues.

In his free time, Michael enjoys being outdoors hiking, skiing, and climbing fourteeners. He also likes to fly fish and is trying to home in on his techniques with this hobby.
