Oexeman Foot and Ankle, PLLC: Stephanie Oexeman, DPM

Stephanie Oexeman, DPM, AACFAS, DABPM, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained foot and ankle reconstructive and peripheral nerve podiatric surgeon in the Chicago area. She currently serves patients at Oexeman Foot and Ankle, PLLC, located in Lincoln Park, Chicago.

Patients who visit Oexeman Foot and Ankle, PLLC, receive comprehensive care. Dr. Oexeman treats various issues, including bunions, drop foot, foot and ankle injuries, and heel pain. She also offers wound care treatment and can provide complete care for diabetic feet and nerve pain. After years of extensive training, Dr. Oxeman is fully equipped to handle your medical needs.

Dr. Oexeman is originally from Saint Louis, Missouri. She graduated with honors from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, receiving her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and minoring in psychology. She received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University College Of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. 

After graduating, she completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency with Franciscan Foot & Ankle Associates at St. Francis in Federal Way, Washington. Dr. Oexeman served as chief resident during her final training year. 

After receiving extensive training during her residency, she completed a fellowship in complex deformity correction and limb reconstruction, emphasizing lower extremity orthoplastic and peripheral nerve surgery at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Oexeman is an award-winning public speaker, published author, and serves as faculty for several international symposiums and courses. 

In 2020, Dr. Oexeman won the Dr. Gerald T. Kuwada Memorial Lectureship Award for her lecture on revisional tarsal tunnel surgery. 

In addition to being the owner of Oexeman Foot and Ankle, PLLC, Dr. Oexeman is the host of the podcast She's a DPM. 

In her free time, she enjoys exploring Chicago with her husband and their bernedoodle, Frannie. Dr. Oexeman loves the outdoors, karaoke, thrifting, and being with friends and family.
