Tanay Shah, MD, began practicing in 2020 and is certified in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery.

"I volunteered at a veterans hospital as an Assistant Research Engineer. The positive experience I had interacting with patients while working on my project really inspired me to pursue medicine.

"For me, joining the field of OB/GYN, my biggest inspirations have been my aunt and uncle who both are OB/GYNS. I had the opportunity to work with them in the summer prior to starting medical school. I experienced the joy of helping to deliver a baby and realized how rewarding OB/GYN is as a specialty."
