Emily J Nymick, LPC

Emily Nymick, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with AHN Behavioral Health, specializing in depression, anxiety, school-based therapy, substance use disorders, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. Her special clinical interests include mindfulness and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Women’s Studies from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. She received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Human Resources Management from La Roche University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Emily Nymick is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. Through her years of experience she believes in planting a seed to help patients see their potential for change. She sees patients ages 9 to 11 and adults.
