John Williams, MD - General Surgery

John Williams, MD is a self-proclaimed 'Army Brat' having lived in many states and countries while growing up. He attended medical School at Texas Christian University and then went to the University of Texas Medical Branch for his medical degree, followed by residency at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Dr. Williams enjoys practicing general surgery because of the range of surgeries he can to offer. He has a special interest in breast cancer and abdominal surgery patients. Dr. Williams served in the army, having done three deployments. He is also a decorated veteran, and was awarded the Purple Heart during his second deployment. He felt that working on the battlefield with injured soldiers was a calling for him. Dr. Williams enjoys the broad resources in medicine at CHI St. Joseph Health. He is married and has two children. As a fan of DYI projects, Dr. Williams enjoys woodworking, gardening and golf. Not providing video visits at this time.
