Dimitrina Banu, PA is an internal medicine physician assistant at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

The most rewarding aspect of her career is getting to know her patients who are sometimes in difficult times of their lives and helping them get better.

Ms. Banu believes in a patient’s active participation in their care and helping them understand how important their part is in addressing their health/illness. She believes in practicing medicine with compassion and treating each patient as a unique human with an individualized plan. Banu cherishes the opportunity to practice primary care and form long-term relationships with patients. Her goal is for patients to feel comfortable coming to their visits, the way they would with a family member.
