Stephen J. Merena, DPM, Podiatrist

Dr. Stephen Merena joined The University of Vermont Medical Center Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Center in South Burlington, VT as a podiatrist in 2011. His specialties include foot surgery, sports medicine and diabetic foot care. Dr. Merena is also an assistant professor at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont.Dr. Merena believes that an early connection between the provider and the patient is essential to a trustworthy relationship that will ultimately benefit the patient. He also believes that as a provider, it is his responsibility to educate patients so they can make the best decision about their care.
