Kari A. Mattos, NP, Advanced Practice Wound Care Nurse

Kari Frederick is an advanced practice wound care nurse at the University of Vermont of Medical Center in Burlington. In addition to her clinical interests, which include acute and chronic wounds, she often cares for patients who suffer from pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, traumatic wounds and burns.

Frederick understands that acute and chronic wounds can be complex and challenging to manage, and says that her goal is to provide each patient with individualized care to help promote healing.
