Samuel Weiss, LICSW, Clinical Social Worker

Samuel Weiss, LICSW is a mental health clinician at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Weiss strives to develop collaborative relationships with his patients and meet them where they are, recognizing that each patient is the expert on their own life. Weiss seeks to connect each patient with skills and information that can help them make decisions with agency and commit to a course of action that will work best for them. He prefers structured styles of therapy, with demonstrated effectiveness, that provide patients with transformative tools to live in alignment with their own values and priorities. 

One of the greatest joys of his work is getting to meet with so many different people at major turning points in their lives, and to support them in navigating those changes effectively.
