Philip H Symes, MD

Dr. Symes is a hematologist and medical oncologist with the Allegheny Clinic Medical Oncology practice and the AHN Cancer Institute at Saint Vincent Hospital.

He graduated from medical school at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, and completed a residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia. He completed fellowship training in hematology and oncology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is the author of several abstracts and publications in professional journals on immunology and pathology.
