Lydia Byrd Redden, CPNP, MSN, ACNP

Lydia B. Redden, MSN, CCRN, CPNP-AC joined the Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery in July 2019. Prior to joining MUSC, she studied at The University of South Alabama earning her Master of Science in Nursing as a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing with a focus in acute care.Lydia grew up in Matthews, NC and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She focuses entirely on the care of children with ear, nose, and throat complications. Her experience and certification in pediatric critical care lends to her focus specifically on the care of tracheostomy management and the transitioning of children and families from inpatient to outpatient care.
