Leah Goodwin Hopkins, MSN, FNP

Leah Hopkins, MSN, FNP-C is a Nurse Practitioner in Endocrinology. She specializes in diabetes management, hypothyroidism, and osteoporosis. She received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Auburn University and worked for eight years as a Registered Nurse in critical care and cardiology at MUSC. She then obtained her Master's degree in Nursing from Walden University while working as an RN. Leah joined the Endocrinology department in May 2019 and started an osteoporosis clinic to help patients manage their bone health. She is also very passionate about diabetes care and works in the hospital on the diabetes management service as well as in an outpatient specialty clinic. Leah utilizes her nursing skills and values to listen and understand her patient's needs. She strives to provide compassionate individualized care to every patient with a focus on education.
