Ever since they were in high school together in Jalisco, Mexico, Christian Velasco Sr. and Maria Velasco dreamed of opening their own restaurant and serving their family’s traditional recipes. For years, this remained a dream, even after they came to East Chicago and raised their children. But today, their children Yajaira and Christian Jr. and Junior’s wife Alexandria have helped them bring that dream to life.
