Udayakumar Navaneethan, MD

Udayakumar Navaneethan, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and an international expert on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He treats complex digestive disorders at the Orlando Health Center for Interventional Endoscopy, located at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in downtown Orlando. Dr. Navaneethan specializes in chromoendoscopy, pouchoscopy and therapeutic endoscopy for IBD, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), luminal stenting, double balloon endoscopy (DBE) and tissue resection. He is involved in IBD research and has written more than 240 articles and book chapters related to IBD. Dr. Navaneethan was also one of the founding members of the Global Interventional IBD group.
