Joshua Robert Karas, MD

Dr. Karas is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgeon and Board Eligible for the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He received his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador and completed his General Surgeon Residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center in Stony Brook, New York. Dr. Karas completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive/Bariatric Surgeon through Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York and continued his training in a fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgeon through Indiana University School of Medicine in Mooresville, Indiana. Dr. Karas is a consultant surgeon of the Colon & Rectal Specialty for Orlando Health Cancer Institute.
