Aurelio Duran, MD

Dr. Aurelio Duran is a cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute specializing in electrophysiology. His expertise includes radiofrequency ablation, implantable cardioverter defibrillators and experimental anti-arrhythmic drug protocols. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology and has been with the institute since 1992. He earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, completed an internal medicine residency at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and performed fellowships in cardiology at the University of Florida and interventional cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Miami. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
