Shiva Mohtashami, MD

Shiva Mohtashami, MD, is a board-certified family practitioner who welcomes patients of all ages to her private practice in Morgan Hill, California. As a primary care provider, Dr. Mohtashami welcomes individuals and families alike to receive consistent, up-to-date medical care. She prioritizes prevention while also offering sick visits, chronic illness management, and mental health care. 
Dr. Mohtashami attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, before attending medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten. She then completed a family medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, earning an academic achievement award. 
At her private practice, Dr. Mohtashami emphasizes the importance of annual checkups, pediatric physicals, and geriatric medicine. She also provides women’s health care and treats acute and chronic diseases, including obesity, heart disease, stroke, arthritis, lung disease, and nutrient deficiencies. 
When she’s away from the office, Dr. Mohtashami enjoys swimming, hiking, and spending time with her family.
