Dr. Nick Sidhu, MD, is a triple board-certified physician with specialities in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine and Anti-Aging, and Functional Medicine. He created the Advanced Medical and Weight Loss Center with patients in mind, wishing to provide quality care to resolve their internal issues and help with obesity management. He practices medicine that is patient based (not disease centered), evidence based and focused on identifying the right hormonal, genetic, environmental, nutritional and lifestyle factors to optimize the body's ability to self repair.

Education plays a critical role in Dr. Sidhu’s understanding of internal issues and delivering the best patient care. He began his studies at UC Davis, earning a degree in biology. Following his degree, he went on to complete residency training in Internal Medicine at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He began his career as a hospitalist in California where he gained immense experience treating adult patients but decided to follow his passion for a deeper understanding of health conditions and alternative medicines/therapies to help reach optimal health. 

Dr. Sidhu is certified as Medical Review Officer and uses this extensive training to evaluate patients health conditions.  Combining this with his knowledge in functional medicine, Dr. Sidhu works to find the root cause of ailments rather than simply treating numbers. He is also an active member in the Healthcare Executives Network (HexN) and IAPAM, where he continues to learn the best practices and innovations in health care.
