Hira Ahmed, DO

Hira Ahmed, D.O., began practicing in 2015 and is certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She was inspired by her parents who gave up much to make sure she would be able to fulfill her dream.

"I really enjoy taking care of younger patients, the ones who may not be able to express their needs and who need a strong advocate. They are the reason I can wake up every morning and come to work.

"My experience with younger patients includes an internship while I was in college with some of the most vulnerable pediatric population. I was able to work closely with special education providers to help kids with various physical disabilities.

"I have a special needs child myself, and I juggle taking care of another toddler. I understand the difficulties of parenting and the daily struggles of life. I believe in being thorough and like to take time with my patients."
