Andrew B Shaw, MD

Andrew Shaw, MD, began practicing in 1994 and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

"I always had a love for science, so when I began undergraduate studies, I started as an architectural engineer. After about two years, I realized I wanted to go into a profession that used my interest in science in way I could help people more directly, so I changed my major to pre-med.

"My rotations in medical school made it clear to me that people struggled the most with some emotional component of their lives -- even with physical illness -- so I started my journey into a field that involves helping others come to terms with the emotional challenges of life."
