Rachel M. Rudder, NP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Rachel Rudder, APRN, FNP is a family nurse practitioner at the University of Vermont Medical Center. 

She was inspired by her childhood nurse practitioner to pursue a nursing career, and to provide comprehensive and empathetic care to her patients. She enjoys primary care, as it allows for the formation of long-term relationships between patients and providers. She seeks to partner with her patients and work with them to achieve their individual goals.  

After working in inpatient medical and surgical units for just over five years, she decided to pursue her NP in Boston, MA. Upon completion of her degree, she started her career as a nurse practitioner in Spokane, WA, prior to moving to Vermont. In her free time, she loves to be outside—running, hiking, biking, and skiing.
