Stephen Waugh, M.Sc., PMHNP-C

Stephen Waugh MS, RN, PMHNP-BC is a board certified psychiatric, mental health nurse practitioner, and an instructor in clinical nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing. He earned both his Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) from The State University of New York (SUNY) Stony Brook.
Stephen provides mental health interventions and care for adult patients at the Nurse Practitioner Group. These interventions may include therapy and/or medication management. Prior to joining the Nurse Practitioner Group, Stephen has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings as well as community health. Stephen’s clinical experience includes intensive work with LGBTQ+ communities, particularly among their aging members.
