Ian B. Kwok, M.D.

Ian B. Kwok, MD, is a graduate of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Kwok joined the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine in 2021 as Director of Community Outreach and Education and as an attending physician on the Inpatient Palliative Care Consultation Service. He is interested in communication strategies and team models bridging communities and health systems, as well as the integration of creative arts therapies for patients with serious illness.
