Jeffrey Silberzweig graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine in 1989 and completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined the staff of The Rogosin Institute, New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the Weill Cornell Medical College in 1995.
He is presently the Chief Medical Officer of The Rogosin Institute and the Medical Director of the Dialysis programs at NYPH's Weill Cornell and Lower Manhattan Hospital campuses. He serves as the Co-Chair of the American Society of Nephrology's COVID-19 Response Team and Emergency Partnership Initiative.
His clinical interests include the management of late stage chronic kidney disease and helping patients prepare for renal replacement therapy. In his role as Chief Medical Officer, he oversees the quality programs at The Rogosin Institute and the integration of a patient-centered focus into all of our clinical programs. He emphasizes each patient's individual needs and ensuring that each patient's needs are met.
