Yahya Burak Atalay, M.D.

Dr. Yahya Burak Atalay, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College and Attending Neurologist at New York Presbyterian Hospital, specializing in vascular neurology. Dr. Atalay completed his neurology residency training and vascular neurology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College. He then remained at Weill Cornell Medical College for one-year Interventional Neuroradiology fellowship. Dr. Atalay is dual board certified by the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at national conferences. He serves as Clinical Director of the Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and Site Director for the New York Presbyterian Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit in Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Atalay’s clinical interests include all aspects of acute neurological conditions.
