James Hunter, PA-C, is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association.

"I have always enjoyed helping other people and making them feel better in one way or another.

"I became interested in healthcare in high school when I frequently dealt with minor injuries such as ankle sprains and hamstring strains. It's what started me down the path to becoming an athletic trainer.

"Once I started working in that area, I decided to further my career and felt becoming a Physician Assistant would be the best option."
