Mackenzie Bowers, DNP

Mackenzie Bowers is an advanced practice practitioner specializing in gastroenterology at Decatur Memorial Medical Group. She graduated from the family nurse practitioner program at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a doctor of nursing practice degree after earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. Prior to joining DMMG, she worked as an advanced practice registered nurse in gastroenterology at Springfield Clinic and was a hematology/oncology charge nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
