Bianca Reaves

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor at Foresight. I received a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Walden University. I have experience working in private-practice, in-patient psychiatric facilities, substance residential facilities and community based mental health settings. I have a passion for working with people through life transitions of depression, grief, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal conflict. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, client-centered perspective: focusing on coping skills, self-esteem, empathy, and connection of feelings to actions. The goal is to assist the client with creating and meeting their goals through changing current difficulties towards increased personal growth. I have experience working with children, adults and the geriatric population utilizing interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Based Therapy, Motivation Interviewing and Person-Centered modalities to meet clients at their starting point.
