Sarah Ahmed

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) at Foresight. I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology (Counseling Practice) at Roosevelt University. My belief is that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for facilitating change. I utilize a client-centered approach to honor strengths, and get to know the person as a whole. I emphasize the importance of a therapeutic relationship by focusing on authenticity and genuineness. I have worked with a wide variety of issues including: self-esteem, depression/anxiety, trauma, stress, and relationship issues. I utilize skill building, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy to help members live their lives as the most authentic version of themselves.
