Billy Stone

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor ( LPC-S ) at Foresight Austin. I received my Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Services in 1994 from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. I have worked in a variety of settings , such as , correctional settings, outpatient and inpatient facilities, substance use treatment facilities, community mental health clinics and private practice. I have also worked with a variety of clients ranging from children to adults from a variety of cultures and a variety of clinical issues. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA++ community and have worked with that community treating individuals and leading treatment and support groups. I specialize in the following areas: LGBTQIA++, Grief, Mood Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety and Substance Use Disorders. My goal is to accept the client wherever they are and do so in a non-judgmental and supportive framework.
