Andrew Gelven, DO

Dr. Gelven is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine. His sub-specialty interests are sports medicine, cartilage repair, shoulder and knee surgery.

Dr. Gelven attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, then completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Following residency, Dr. Gelven completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Atlanta Sports Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, with advanced training in the treatment of cartilage injuries. Dr. Gelven is an active member of both the American Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics.

Dr. Gelven serves St. Charles County at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles and Lake Saint Louis.
