Kristy Nguyen, MD

Kristy Nguyen, MD, urology, endeavors to “make the unapproachable approachable.” She first became interested in health care when acting as a translator for relatives at doctor appointments when she was young. She carries that passion through today, treating patients like her own family members and ensuring they have all the information they need to make the most informed decisions. Dr. Nguyen graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oklahoma before pursuing medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She completed an internship and her residency in urology at the University of Louisville. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Urologic Association and the Association of Women Surgeons. She is bilingual in English and Vietnamese. Dr. Nguyen’s practice offers surgical and non-surgical treatments for men and women across a variety of urological conditions, including but not limited to incontinence, erectile dysfunction, complex stone disease, urologic oncology, benign prostatic hyperplasia and more. Her practice also offers non-invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries. When not caring for patients, Dr. Nguyen enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, telescopic stargazing and checking out local restaurants.
